Mike has served the men and women of the Chino Police Department and the City of Chino for 25 years as a Police Chaplain and for the last ten years as its program coordinator and providing the City on-demand support in critical incidents, crisis intervention, and counseling in personal issues. He completed the POST Advanced Law Enforcement Chaplaincy certification in March of 2023 and hosts the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Training Program for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Rapid Response Team each year.
By investing in people, Mike desires to make a difference for Christ. He is a regional director for the Renew Network, focusing on helping pastors and churches pursue biblical discipleship. His love for community includes volunteering for city events and outreach efforts. Mike facilitates the Chino monthly Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, bringing the faith community together to pray intercede for our city leadership. He also serves on the organizing committee for the annual Chino Valley Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast.
His passion for those who need Jesus extends to numerous church ministries. Locally, he supports the Inland Empire with Food for Life Ministries and recently returned from a mission trip to Kenya with Tumaini International to provide medical care and socio-economic development assistance to needy children and families and plant churches with Christian Chapels Kenya.
On a personal note, he actively roots for the L.A. Dodgers, loves chips & salsa, hiking local trails, traveling with his family, and especially playing racquetball!
